If you have some extra time you can come in and take a few dogs out on a walk, play with them, and let them exercise. The dogs really love this and it helps to socialize them for their new home. You may also come in and help clean out cages, bath some animals, help at meal time, and any other chores that may need done around the
shelter. There is a new volunteer meeting that will help you understand the procedures at the shelter, simply ask someone at the shelter and they can give you more information. The shelter is also always looking for volunteers to help foster, see more under the Foster section. Also, volunteers can help plan fundraiser's, awareness for the shelter and other events that will help in finding new forever homes for our pets. Volunteers are what help keep the shelter going. We always need dedicated, animal loving, and friendly volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering please don’t hold back. Every volunteer makes a difference!
