Hugs For Hounds is an organization devoted to sheltering, caring for and rehoming unwanted and homeless Dogs and Puppies.

All item's may be dropped off at the shelter.

Make sure you put that it is for HFH

• Paper towels

• Bleach, this is needed for cleaning of kennel floors and cleaning of food and water dishes.

• Greased Lightening cleaner

• Clorox wipes

• Dish soap

•Towels, always needed, always useful (Large)

• Dog shampoo, flea and oatmeal type

• Latex Gloves, these are a MAJOR REQUIREMENT.

• Laundry Detergent

• Borox is also a great booster to add to the detergent.

• Dog crates, plastic airline and metal.

• Dog Beds

• Box fans.

• Flea Resolution, (Frontline and Capstar) to assist with flea eradication.

• Kong Toys, such a simple object is filled with treats and provides entertainment.

• Leads and Collars, always helpful in any size

• Flat Back Buckets, these are used for food and water for the larger babies.

• Gift Cards from WalMart, Target, BiLo, Tractor Supply or even CVS for purchasing supplies.

• Newspapers with ads removed, we use these on the trays of our kennels.

• Monetary Donations Gas to traffic these babies around, sizeable vet bills are just a couple of expenses.

Senior Care Program!

We do take in alot of dogs that are too old for most families to want. We do our best to do what we can to allow for them to live out their lives, unfortunately many of them need a degree of veterinary care. Space is not an issue with these sweet seniors as they wander the shelter/store throughout the day. Please come by and meet these angelic souls. They are all available for adoption and for foster care. ANY donations towards vet bills for the "Senior Care Dogs" may be sent to our address below. Please remember that even $5.00 helps-If enough people sent in just $5.00-we could be much more productive in this effort!!
