may contact the shelter about any questions you may have or come by just to let us see how they are doing, the volunteers do miss the pets when they go but are happy they are in a loved home. Our adoptions typically include: de-worming, spay/neuter and 1St. vaccine is included. If the animal is spayed/neutered through Hugs for Hounds we also include the vaccinations, micro-chip and rabies vaccine at the time of surgery. If the animal adopted was already altered upon arrival to Hugs for Hounds, the adopter will be responsible for the rabies vaccine and having the animal micro-chipped!
